How do I delete submissions?
### Submissions

There are two ways to delete submissions:

### From the Paperform Dashboard

 1. Click "X Results" next to your form.
 2. Select the checkboxes to the left of the submissions you wish to delete.
 3. Select ‘Delete X Selected…’

### From the Form Editor

 1. Go to Share → Results.
 2. Select the checkboxes to the left of the submissions you wish to delete.
 3. Select ‘Delete X Selected…’

## Deleting all submissions

If you want to delete every submission for a form, head to the Submissions page for the form and select Delete → All. You will see a popup asking you to confirm you want to delete all submissions for your form.

## Deleting submissions before a specific date

You can delete submissions before specific dates by filtering your results by date first and picking a date range from the calendar or choosing from the following:

 - Today
 - Last 7 Days
 - Last 30 Days
 - This Month
 - Last Month
 - This Quarter
 - Last Quarter

To select one of these options, click "Filter by date" next to the Search bar and then "Delete Matched."

## Restoring Submissions

If you accidentally delete your submissions, there is a limited period of time during which they can be recovered. [Learn how to restore deleted submissions](https://paperform.com/help/articles/how-do-i-restore-submissions/) in our help center.

## File uploads and Custom PDFs

Paperform stores file uploads and Custom PDFs using Amazon's "S3" file storage service. We these separately from other submission data and only delete these on request because the files must be hosted somewhere to be viewed and retrieved.
